My family and my fuel log....

Bought my metro in July of '07

Have tracked every ounce of gas I have put in it since the first tank.

Today I find out, my 3 brothers, my wife, and even my parents have all been in on the plot... for the last 3+ months they have randomly been adding gas to my tank! ...

ARRRRRGGGGGG

3 months is a long time to torture an ecomodder. Aside from the lapse in their collective judgment on that point, it is kind of funny.

Have they promised to stop? (Or are you willing to continue to be subsidized?)

They have said they are going to stop.
But knowing them, that is just so they can do it again!

So I'm getting a locking gas cap on the way home tonight.

...... To explain how easily they did this.... We all live close to each other, original family farm..... so my parents are about 1/8 mile away, my house in the middle, and then 2 more brothers have houses up the next hill.... all within 1/4 mile circle.

So... where do you live? Perhaps, if close enough, they could subject me to similar torture.

That's some funny stuff there!

If they really wanted to mess with him they could add gas some weeks and siphon it out the others.

Determained to beat all previous tampered tanks with my new tank (and locking gas cap)

I hit 54mpg on the metro. New personal best.

Woohoo!

Now all you need to do is make sure they're not jacking the front wheels off the ground and spinning your odometer ahead while you're parked!

Oh, and look into locking valve stem caps.

Check under the car to see if they have added a belly pan.
