I did make my comments in the spirit of encouraging further innovation and not restricting experimentation in anyway.

Nice looking or temporary looking, these chin spoilers do seem to attract the wrong kind of attention from the destructive types.

The earlier comment by someone about the possibility of tuck-in was a good comment. A continuous arcing strip with built-in edge reinforcement will have considerably more resistance to tuck-in.

We all have to start somewhere, and this project is as good of start as any. Maybe just some tape on the seems and a color change to black will finish it off without totally redoing it.

Or you could get some lawn edging, slip welding rod into the tube and bend it to match the bumper, and never look back.

Last time I was in a hardware department I found these nylon panel clips that were like a big-headed pop rivet. It looked like they would work in a regular pop rivet gun. With a [nylon] backing washer they look ideal to attach lawn edging to a bumper's lower edge.
