my intro...

Hello everybody I was Introduced to this site with a couple questions in mind i actually found this site off google and thought that its really cool...

Me: see I love the car modding seen Im all into customs and eco customs was a new concept to me.

My car: I have a 2001 Hyundai accent and I did a little modding to it myself.
generally performance modifications that helped me in multiple ways including efficiency. yeah my car isn't anything huge but it is better then stock witch makes me happier with it. if you guy are into mechanics of things you might hate some of my plans for my car, but all the rest you will love.
I guess I will start by telling you what i did to my car so far- bored our intake manifold and airram intake (for increased air flow), underdrive pulley (for less belt draw), performance plugs and wires, performance lowering springs, and much more to come.

alot of N/A racing mods increase mpg if you can drive conservatively.
but burn double the gas if you drive liberally.

I was looking into electric a/c and power steering.
and had an idea of making custom cvvt for the car... (not sure where to start).

I understand you guys are all about saving and stuff but to be honest with you I wont be able to make my car like a rolling mpg raft.
as I am still only 20 and love to have fun with cars.
(dont ask if I street race because the answers is no)

I am very knowledgeable in cars and do all my work myself.

Your age doesn't automatically = speedfreak. You'll find more than a few <20's here who are interested in ecomods primarily.

But everyone's motivations are different. Welcome to EcoModder!
