Am I correct in guessing you do more city than highway driving... The three speed automatic in that year Neon is rock solid, but it was also a prime reason I chose the 5 speed when I finally bought my Neon. I know driving my Neon around town nets lower mileage by a bunch.

As an aside, my son borrowed my Neon for a roadtrip and he had a tank at 39.83. Yes, its a 5 speed... I expect more data when he gets back... Now I have to figure out how beat him by one complete MPG better. Might be time for that grill block afterall.
