There is nothing that words can really say to help, but know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers, and that people are there if you need to reach out to others.

May you find peace.

Jim

Thank you all for your support. It's really hard to deal with, but things like this make it just a little better.

I am posting the following picture in an effort to drive home my first post about what can happen when you lose your focus.

Thank you all again for everything. I really appreciate it...

Sister

Will,I never had to walk around in those kind of moccasins. It's hard for me to wrap my brain around it.All my family so far has been lost to protracted illness and I was fortunate to be with many when they slipped away.I can't imagine a loss like that and can only tell you that it reminds me how precious and fleeting life can be and for me to never take it for granted,as we realize how things can change in an instant.I didn't know your sister but I do know of the love between siblings and I lament your loss.As all the others have intimated, our hearts go out to you and your family.Perhaps,in some convoluted way, your sister has helped us all to remember the significance of what we set in motion every time we turn the key.Best wishes to you and your family, and thanks for allowing us to share with you in this difficult time,Phil.

I want to again thank you all for your support. It has really helped.

Things are finally starting to calm down a little, I guess. Many people around town have told me that this has made them pay a little more attention when they are driving. I guess maybe a little good can come from this after all.

I have not posted much lately, but I am back now.

Thank you all, again...

Sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. I'm sure there is a lesson to be learned by all of us about paying more attention to what is going on with ourselves and others when behind the wheel. I know my mind wonders more than it should sometimes when driving, but everyone just has so much on their minds now days and we often take life and our safety for granted. My 17 year old son says I worry too much about him on the road, because I always tell him before he leaves to be careful and usually ask him to call home when he gets to his destination just so I'll know he is safe and that he hasn't had some type of car trouble on the way. With having a son near your sisters age, I can only imagine what your parents are going through. Good luck to you and all of your family during this time of heartache. Time will never heal the loss, but it will help ease the pain.
