Question Need mpg tricks for Aspire97

Gettin 28mpg city A/C on,flooring at every light(JJ),I like starting fast at the light but that can change,Need some ideas, other than slowing down ,on 1.3L mazda motors.EGGBEATER-;P-American rice burner!

if you want different results from what you've been getting, you'll need to change something that you've been doing. Take your pick on what you want to change.

Come to think of it, my tire pressure tip in signature below isn't a bad idea, for starters. Personally, I start at the "sidewall max" pressure and work from there. I pay no attention to the door sticker; in my humble opinion it's written primarily for butt comfort and tire sales.

about your acceleration habits, look into the BSFC charts. They're basically telling you what RPM and engine load is the most efficient.

And slowing down to at least the speed limit will be helpful. The air drag formula uses speed squared. So 50MPH squared is 2500 and 70MPH squared is 4900. That's almost double the drag!
