New additions...
Wednesday morning, I went to the hospital with my wife... at about 0730, she began laboring for our Son...
June 4th, just at 2313 hrs, my Son was born.
39 weeks pregnant, 39 hours of labor, and about 13 minutes to actually give birth.

He is our first.. and he's a special one, too.
After he was born, the midwife noticed something peculiar about the umbilical cord... it has two full knots in it.
In case anyone reading this doesn't know, babies with knots, even one, in their umbilical cord, are seldom "born" as it were. He had two, which is an even more rare event.
Truly a blessed child, and he'll be treated that way as long as I have something to say about it.

Congrats ChrisT! Get him working on cars as soon as he can walk! Your wife okay? 39 hours is a long labor period.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is my favorite composer, though I don't know most of his pieces... that name sticks in my head all the time, so I thought I should put it in there somewhere.
The odd part is that "Amadeus" is latin... from Amore and Deus, Love and God.
I'm Agnostic-Personal, so that name seems counter-intuitive.
Wife is recovering, but we're (she's) breast feeding, so rest is left to the wicked, as it were. So far, we're working on severely limited sleep, the (possibly) least understanding family in the world, and a bunch of nosey people who can't keep their faces in their own newspapers, so to speak.
Other than that, we're doing just fine! It's only day 4... I'm a little irritable, but it only gets better from here... soon he'll start developing a feeding/sleeping schedule, and we'll be able to sleep when he does... soon after that, he'll be sleeping all night, and I'll be thinking about potty training and teaching him to walk... then it's off to high school, and I'll be praying he's not like I was.
