Lightbulb New Around Here :)

Hey all, I'm SuperGreg (lame I know... but it's an old nickname so it matches my other screen names...). I'm new to this stuff so I've been trying hard and practicing. I got into this after I read an article about Wayne Gerdes and though it was pretty cool what he was able to accomplish.

I don't own a hybrid vehicle, but I have been trying some of the techniques (slowly... still learning) and have seen some improvements. I've decided to join a couple boards so I might see you all around on some of the other ones...

Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to the site.

What car do you drive and what kind of mileage are you getting from it now that you've been trying out some new techniques?

I currently am driving an 08 Altima (4 cyl) and have just been using the build in guage for my MPG's (if that's what you mean).

I used to get about 27 MPG's and I have just since been using some basic strategies (been trying the P&G and mostly maintaining a more efficient speed on highways). I now get about 32 MPG's just from making a few simple changes... I must have really been a lead foot... ha.

Still working on it but not ready to try the more extreme methods quite yet
