Arrow New feature: EcoModder Project Library (help expand it!)

What is the EcoModder Project Library?
The library is meant to be a comprehensive index of threads showcasing members' projects from all forums.

The threads in the library are examples of the 65+ different types of efficiency modifications (and/or tests of those) that members have done to their vehicles and posted about.

>> View the EcoModder Project Library
How can I add a project thread to the library?
It's a simple 2-click process:

1) Any member with 250+ posts can submit their own or any other member's project threads to the library by clicking the "Add this thread to EcoModder's Project Library" link that appears at the top of the first post, eg:

2) After clicking the "Add this thread" link, you'll be prompted to choose the closest category from our list of 65+ efficiency mods that the project thread fits.

What type of threads should I add?
The goal of the library is to showcase the "doing", rather than the "talking".

So please only add threads that actually show a project that is under way or completed.

Just thinking out loud about ecomodding doesn't count! Noodling things through is an important step, but until the actual modifying has begun, the thread doesn't qualify.

More to come
The Project Library is a work in progress. Expect additions and improvements. Feedback in this thread is welcome.

A few quick examples of coming additions to the library:

- an optional short (250 character max.) "summary" field that describes the project

- more sortability (eg. view "recent posts in projects")

- category pagination, once the library starts to fill up

Wow!! Just what every toddling ecomodder needs to get off all fours and just do it!

Will the search engine get an option to search only the Project Library?

That's a good idea about a library-specific search, Piwoslaw.

Added to the list of upgrades.

PS - are you going to add your Peugeot thread?

It would probably fit nicely in the "Aerodynamic mods - fabrication" category.
