I don't get info on the Jetta anymore. I used to when I had my daughter almost convinced to go MPG hunting instead of all out fast.

What I meant was;
Am I too late to enter this round?
Is there, (was there?) some cut off or deadline I missed.
I am still quite busy, so it may be the weekend before I get the chance to fill my log entries.

And don't worry Piwoslaw, my mileage has been heinous since I put the bigger tires on. I knew it would suffer, but I need the extra cushion for my back.
So now I am working on bringing the new and improved riding and handling SuperElasticBubblePlastic back up to snuff.

Great Idea!! I guess I will have to update my mileage logs (way behind).

Also ban my significant other from driving the Honda (lead foot).

Good going Denis!!
Keep our (Diesel Team's) milage up, we've gotta stay ahead of Team Metro. My dragging brakes have dragged my last few tanks' milage down, but I'm back in the game

And it's a 1000 miles
Rather than the measly 1000 km I'm struggling to get out of the Volvo now

We've been forced to drive 90 km/h (56 mph) due to smog, but the Volvo doesn't handle 90km/h well - the revs are too low for the engine.

Somehow I missed this thread. I want in, if possible (Team Honda of course).

However Lean Burn Civic is currently sidelined due to cylinder head issues - needs a thorough head rebuild. I hope to have it on the road again in about two weeks but no guarantees.

At least one valve (probably three) are leaking oil into the cylinders so badly that I got CELs a few times each day, till I sidelined the car a nearly week ago. Thankfully ScanGauge enables you to clear a CEL in seconds.

Driving Lean Burn '97 Civic HX, lotsa mods by now! '89 Volvo 240 is semi-retired. I did love that car though!

brucepick, registering a car in a team is really easy :
  • go on the team page : EcoModder Team Competition
  • click on the team you want to be in
  • on the right, choose your car you want to register
  • then click on "Join Team"

Then have fun behind the steering wheel and don't forget to register all your fills.

Denis.

We could use your help, bruce! Too many diesels and metros are ahead of us. We are, however, ahead of them on % over epa.

Edit: I just looked at your log. Ouch! Things are definitely not right with the car.

Oi, I've been doing poorly as well. Dang winter. I don't know what team I'll be on when I get the CRXfi on the road either. I'd like to stay with my team honda and help out. I've combined the most important aspect of a crx with the most important aspect of a metro. WHERE DO I BELONG IN THIS WORLD?!
