New here w/ Saturn

central Valley CA/ Saturn SL 4 door....I get about 40mpg. Usually just go 55 unless I have to go faster on the freeway. push in the clutch going to stops and down hills. This makes driving a little more fun. Thank you all for all your tips. I am thinking about trying to get a geo storm and maintaining one of those. I don't love my saturn and don't really want to maintain it...like the shift syncro is going out and I don't' know if its worth the effort to maintain...Geo...seems like worth the effort for the mileage maybe someone wants to trade..

Welcome to EM! Can't go wrong with a healthy Geo. I like the Geo Storm, but I am guessing they are hard to find.

Good job on your Saturn Mileage. I had a '94 SL2 5 speed twin cam and all I could get was 30. I discovered that it really was a GM, and for me not worth fixing when the engine blew something.
