new here w/ a VUE

hey, I've searched here a few times but decided to finally join. I have a '04 Saturn VUE w/ an ECOTEC and a 5 speed. all stock except for eibach springs. factory rated @ 29hwy; my avg is 27mpg, w/ a best ever of 31.6mpg, mostly hwy.
I'll be installing some winter tires soon, but when it gets warm again I'll be getting some summer rubber. stock size is 235/65 16 (it was a wider tire for the sport pkg) but I want to 'downgrade' to the standard size of 215/70.
I would like to experiment w/ an air dam of some sort; I have to be careful because my neighborhood is very hilly w/ steep transitions at the intersections. might try some grill blocking as well.

well, don't know if anyone will notice, but I've got to change my intro info. we traded in our VUE for a '09 Mazda5 sport manual. only put gas in it once since picking it up, so we'll have to wait to see how it does.

oh, it was about time. had the VUE since new, was starting to show wear (read as: getting expensive to fix/maintain) and w/ 3 kids, we outgrew it. I should also say, we lost our 2nd car, a '96 MPV not too long ago to a hit&run, so we took this opportunity to simplify and get one car that can serve our family's needs.
