New hypermiller

I have been looking around this forum for a long time and finally decided to make an account. I currently own a 2001 civic auto with the tips from this forum have been able to bring up my average FE form 32mpg to 40mpg.

No major aero mods, just got some transparent tape and seal the top grill. Inflated the tire pressure to max, I also have modified intake & magnaflow muffler (more free-flowing) seems to help with mpg, if you can keep your foot off the gas

Also I just added in home-made Oil catch can to put between PCV and intake manifold; keeps oil out, preventing sludge buidup, and keeps from degrading octane rating of fuel. I feel like it improved mpg, but do not have scientific method to prove that it does.

I'm interested in aero mods myself and will be spending a lot of my time in those threads. Welcome.
