Welcome to EM. Saturn SL1s do better than most for mpgs, but it all depends on the nut behind the wheel. Results range from EPA combined mpg up to well over 200% of that, without any mods.

Welcome to EM! Manual or Automatic? I went to the Ecomodder Garage and just searched for "Make = Saturn" and got this :

Garage Search: Make = Saturn

The list is mostly S-Series. The ones at the top are the ones that have the most recent fillups.

manual. The best numbers i have seen are 41 hand calculated for a tank. But lately it seems to have fallen to around 35, but that could just be the difference in winter..
I'm also wondering if anyone has had any luck with the warm air intake, because i have heard that the saturns respond well to it. What about adjusting timing also? Thanks for the replies by the way!

Check out the list of mods here. The best mod is changing your driving habits, removing weight and making the car more aerodynamic.

You cannot adjust the timing on a Saturn. You might try a stock header.Have you tried a MMO soak?
