Nissan drive by wire throttle
Does anyone know how the drive by wire throttle works on a Nissan Versa? Is it a voltage based throttle? Does the gas pedal act as a potentiometer?
Could I use a switch to bypass the pedal and use a potentiometer to give a constant throttle setting?

OK, after a bit of research, I am looking for a way to bypass the accelerator pedal position sensor.
It appears to be a potentiometer.
This pdf file was helpful.

Very Interested
I too have a Versa 1.6, and I'm dying to get some kind of alternate throttle control. Be it cruise control, a hand operated POT, maybe even something rigged to pull or push the pedal other than my foot. Have you made any progress?
