Here it is the latest (as of April 16, 2011) Nissan Leaf television commercial.

No bear hugs in this one, but still pretty good.

What! No bear hugs. That's the best part of the commercial.

It was a good commercial but they should have said something about renewable energy in it. If the car is powered by coal it's not zero emissions maybe just (slightly) less emissions.

I think most, if not all, coal generated electricity is in mid or eastern US. Lots of hydro and nuke in the western US presenting their own problems. Earlier this week we had new about charging stations coming, and yesterday we had an Earth Day event; highliighting electric vehicles ( and both events were very 'pro-solar' ).

Amazingly, I have finally seen the Leaf. Been quite an informative week- even the PRT vehicles are still hanging on!
