I think the problem with not being just over 50 is that its tricky to brim this car. It has the VAG vent in the fuel tank and hasn't had the ventectomy yet, so the fuel spits back unless you top it up slowly. I push the vent nozzle with the filler but I may be getting better and better at it, so more fuel goes in each time.

Or maybe my technique is off and I need to practice more.
