Both of my vehicles have it, but my 07 RAM uses it for decel than for saving fuel. The wife's 08 Avenger; however, will only engage the DFCO if we are going above 60 mph. Typically 63 mph, then letting off the throttle will engage it until about 55 mph. If the car is in DFCO and I force it to downshift to second, it will continue to a lower speed (@ 40 mph). Various speeds might be worth investigating...

fuel cutoff can have many triggers, my honda ecu, at least with the neptune software has triggers of: Load(manifold pressure), Throttle position, RPM, and Speed. I can also Adjust a delay.

On this 94 no option auto civic, I installed a wideband a day before hacking the ECU and noticed no fuel cut. I saw once I got running paramaters that closed throttle was seen as 4%, the stock threshold for fuel cut. Zeroed the TPS and Wahla, fuel cut, its instantaious, and all the way down to ~37mph. It releases the TCC upon decell now, and allows more throttle input before releasing the TCC.

I know this is not helpfull directly for you, as I think your truck is drive by wire, but GM has had a lot of throttle body faults, so many that we keep a spare or 2 for the mule engine that tests transmissions.

I mainly wrote this so you could see at least what one manufacture uses for parameters, and others who find this thread by search might find this info helpful too.

Good luck! I know how disappointed I was when i saw it wasn't working, its money down the drain and CO emissions for nothing!!!

I've got a bit of a different problem with my 2014 Renault. I know it has DFCO, I can see the loop indicator and feel it.

Problem is, SGII doesn't seem to recognise it. I've tried numerous values for 'Cut Off' and tried both 0 and 100. In the past the default of 24 has always worked perfectly across various cars. Am I missing something?
