Question Odometer stuck at 100,000

Anyone else have any problems with milestone odometer failures?
Does anyone have any suggestions? The Speedometer still works!
To be honest, this is making tracking mpg's a little tough!
Thanks!

I would open it up and poke at it with a toothpick to try and loosen it up or else buy a new ODO

Probably doesn't have a trip odo My car doesn't. Though the ForkenSwift does...

If you're mechanically inclined, I'd just take it apart & have a look. Could be as simple as a little plastic gear having shifted on its little axle.

I haven't heard anything specific about the metro ODO's quitting at the big milestones. (The ForkenSwift is at 180something thousand kms.)

I dig the toothpick suggestion! Looks like I will have to add that to my ducktape and bailing wire toolbox! I'll give it a try! Thanks!

things that work even better for REAAAAALLY small things (like, thin enough to take bearing shields off) is safety pins. bit sharp though....

All Fixed! Sweet! Took a while, but after getting in there, I just stuck a mini screwdriver (didn't want to go into the house and get a toothpick) into the odometer and jiggled it around for a while, paying close attention to trying to get the plastic gear closer to the numbers. That did the trick and the miles are now ticking away! Thanks for your help!
