Off to a start

Well I thought introduce myself. I live near Omaha NE Just put in my 2nd tank of gas in my 03 Toyota Echo (a little over 100k miles) with a scanguage e and while it's my best mileage yet I'm wondering how much more I can achieve (it seems like my driving habits have changed quite a bit already, somewhat upsetting other drivers when I'm in the you got it slow lane only 5mph less then the speed limit. 60mpg would seem a fairly challenging goal but I think possible. So will aim for 55mpg for my current tank of petrol.

Have been reading a number of posts and articles here and there getting some good insight. Looking into putting a 60-80 watt solar panel on top of the car to keep the battery charged and disconnecting the alternator since most of my driving is daytime, I will use a deep cycle battery so if it does discharge a bit it will hold up. The issue is figuring out the serpentine belt to keep the water pump going.
