Your astra is a TDI I assume (diesel)?

Fair enough. But I'd guess a few American cars must have the Denso V5 pump maybe...? After all, there are a few diesel cars in the US, and diesel fuel pumps aren't that unique.

OH OK and with a totally machinacal injector system???

If so there is no pulse to a injector for these to work on.

On the bright side I got my copy of a mpguino today great service.

I will be hitting Frys for a case and hooking it right up.

The unit comes bare, so I went to Fry's Electronics to buy a plastic case that I can mount it in and then mount that into my car.
