Ok, still having the problem.... Would it happen to have anything to do with hooking up to injector #1? Thats really all I can come up with....

Well IF I read this correctly:

I used:
A1-INJ1 INJECTOR#1 Brown, Battery Voltage
B2-LG2 ground to shields for CYP & TDC Brown/Blk, <1V

If I read that as your on injector #1 and on the 12 postive wire, If that is right then you on the wrong wire, you want the wire that does not have 12 volts, as the 12 volts is the supply and the other wire it the trigger wire.

Try switching them.

If I read that wrong I am sorry and forget it.

Ok, well coincidence or not, I burned up the TDC sensor. TDC was replaced and guino was installed using

Chassis ground
INJ 2 signal
VSS
IGN power

All is working so far. Seems kinda pointless to update this but....

how did the tdc get burnt?

Also did you mean IGN power or battery power? It won't remember the tank trip if not connected to battery power ( and a flakey ignition power could cause the atmega some grief)

I need your help please. I would like to sell MPguino Pre assembled(new) From openguage $45 including shipping.I bought this with the intention of saving money, spend money I never had and dont know how to use it!

Email Randall_matthews9@yahoo.com

Why dont the cheaper cars have instuments like this when they are the ones who really need to save money? Is it because corporations want everyone to spend money on gas!If so such patriotism!

I heard all European cars have this?
Please email randall_matthews9@yahoo.com
For now I just read about it and control my driving for fuel saving. Thanks everyone!

A response!

The ignition power is a constant supply, on all the time.. I'm thinking the atmega is part of the guino program? Everything seems to be running fine for the first 50 or so miles...

I agree instructions on this thing are quite horrible, but once you get to use it a bit, it gets relatively easy. I wouldn't say it saves you money, your foot can do a better job saving, the guino just shows you how good of a job your doing.
