If the preassembled unit needs to be reprogrammed does the chip need to be removed from the unit?

How is the chip or unit connected to the computer for reprogramming?

It is possible to ask for a "custom" kit?

I would want one with no LCD (and maybe reduced donation) as well as front mount buttons instead of top

Donation sent, I can't wait to start working on my F150! It has two gas tanks for a reason.

Got it today! Wiki shows resistors at inj and vss connection. do i need these, or are they eliminated or incorporated within the assembly? Also, which wire at each? My 94 Metro has 1 green + 1 purple at vss, and 1 tan + 1 tan w/black at inj. Try and see? or will wrong wire cause damage? And I'm using telephone wire. Heavy enough? Sorry for so many ?'s. I want this hooked up NOW!!!

Thanx again

The resistors are all built in, just need to tap your wiring. If your 94 is like this 98 then you will have a yellow/green at the ECU behind the glovebox and a yellow/blue at the injector under the air cleaner (for the injector connection), use constant 12v for power.

Maybe this helps:

Got some weird #s, like speed at a standstill. Think maybe pinned wrong side of vss. I'll try flopping it tomoro.
