I'm going to continue using a pint of kerosene at each oil change run for 15 mins before the change. I've never tried the ATF as an oil flush. Have used a pint of water to clean carbon...but am worried about the 2 $50 O2 sensors in this car.

Changed the MS additive laced oil after around 1200 miles...was just slightly dark....so not a lot of carbon etc....left to remove?

Very interesting testing! I also did some testing about 5 years ago with 2 different air cooled motors. I measured oil temp, engine RPM @ same throttle, head temp, and oz-in lbs to turn motors without heads. I was very hopeful that the data would show some good results. The data I collected showed no difference or at least nothing I could measure! I really was surprised because the science & technical day looked very promising.
