How an ecomodder wants to go out?!

A Toyota Prius hearse probably on the way to Forest Lawn. Unfortunately, did not follow the proper aero template.

No hearse at all.

After declaration of death (and independent confirmation of two other sources) I have left instructions to salvage for usable parts.Corneas, heart, liver, kidneys, skin, marrow-anything the doctors believe will be useful for transplant and growth medium will be salvaged. If there is anything useful remaining, parts of interest (brain for neurological research, cadaver to practice surgery techniques etc) will be forwarded to the first university that wishes them. If there are still parts unclaimed, they will be disposed of as biomedical waste and eventually nourish the soil somewhere.

Relatives will probably insist on a headstone and memorial service instead of a simple wake and good memories-but that's their waste and not mine. I'm going out recycling.

I like it!!

I'm and organ donor, at least. - And I got a head-start - already donated one of my kidneys. And I'm on the marrow donar list and gave blood regularly until I got a chronic skin rash that made me inelegible. The rash has been cleared-up for several months now though, so I guess I should go start donating again. - got outta the habit, I guess...

A Prius hearse? I'd rather have the last trip in a rust-bucket VW Rabbit Pickup with the 1.6L Diesel...

Howasabout a solar-canopy Rickshaw with a 1500 watt power assist, safely packaged in a light, weather-proof yet biodegradable cardboard casket? Go for a nice leisurely trip-it's not like anybody's going to start the party without you...

Cremation.

Oh, come on... it's not THAT much CO2.

My last conveyance, though, will have to be either electric, human-powered, or horse-powered. No hydrocarbon fumes for the people walking behind my hearse, please.

Biodegradable cardboard caskets don't sound bad. But I'm actually not the greatest enthusiast of electric drive, altough some friends of mine would like that idea.
