Another year + old thread in which I must correct myself! Eco Motors never did arrive and had a dispute with a CA. dealer was last I heard. That vehicle was not in the San Francisco auto show; so might be officially "dead".

Very sad since it had power brakes/steering/windows/air conditioning... blah blah blah ... and got 65 mpg. I hate it when 3-wheelers do not make it.

I think ECO Motors began in 2007 or 2008. I bought a 3-wheel vehicle with 2 back wheels and 1 front wheel and wanted a 2 front wheel design 3-wheeler like the ECO. That business was all over the web and after photos of an ECO at a warehouse in China I got 2 or 3 "They are on the ship- on the way!" messages - then *poof* - nothing. My German 3-wheeler was cheaper than cheap- registered/insured a motorcycle, gas $0. (electric) but impossible to get parts for; so I sold it. Cheaper in the long run for me to drive a Ford Aspire until the 4 wheels fall off, then find another 'dead' Kia with good wheels!
