Other Focus 1.8 TDDI drivers? SVO/Veg
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone else is running their focus on veg? A friend of mine does. I wonder if you have any success or horror stories.
I am keeping a fuel and veg oil ratio log.
Currently I am getting decent results from 66% Veg, 34% Diesel and a litre or so of petrol. Starts reasonably easily - give the heaters a couple of goes to warm them.
When I run it 92% Veg, 8% petrol the starting is hard enough and I seem to lose MPG - I think the veg oil is a few MPG less efficient.
