Brucey,

Can you fill us in on how you built the bumper cover? I'm interested in doing something similar to the front of my Protege, but I'm not sure what kind of plastic to use or how to bend it.

Its seriously the most ghetto thing ever. I just took some woodscrews and bolted a sign to the bumper, then spray painted it all black.



Car looks like that with out it, someone hit me in the parking lot and tore my bumper up, so I amputated the part that was dragging...

Thanks for the tips, folks!

I can't really remove the roof rails, as I do occasionally throw something on top. Same with lowering - I don't go off road as often as I'd like, but I do need the clearance.

With the upper grille, I guess I could partly block it off. But I'm hesitant to do it as in summer it gets up towards 45C (113F).


Besides that, I haven't had the time to do anything lately.
