Since I'm at it

I had to sort of organize the files I got from Paul. So here is the latest that I have for the AC controller

Only the source fits into a zip file. The 2 schematics and the pcb are too big.

Daox - if you pm me your email address, I can send to you direct.

And one more

This is the code to use the AC controller as an inverter - like the ones that you get to run tools from 12V batteries, or from your diesel work truck.

This one will work at whatever voltage you use on your pack. If you use about 150V, paul says it will do a pretty good job of 120VAC. Paul said that it worked to do 240VAC .. but I have not seen that as yet.

I'd expect to use 300VDC bus for 240VAC output, but that's just what I've seen on other inverters.

I was going to try to run a sump pump on 120V output from a 48V pack on my carryall. If it pumps - great! It may need a boost stage to bring the pack voltage up to 120 - 150 VDC to operate properly .. not sure.

Sorry - didn't know that was what you were looking for.

I have files from Sep 2015. That was the last time I emailed them to someone.
They appear to be Rev2c, pdfs of artwork instead of .sch and .pcb files. I don't appear to have those. A BOM, pdfs of the schematics.

I have similar for for Rev 2b, but not as complete.

The software I have is an html capture of the code. It looks like you can copy and paste to AVR studio and create the 3 files required. Not exactly what i had hoped I had .. but better than nothing? Software is Cougar 1.11b

They are too big to post here, being mostly pdfs. If you are interested, PM me the email address you want them sent to.

Hi Guys
As I'm "Beta testing" Pauls "Stinky Diaper" - or is it the "Diarrhea" - anyway the High power DC controller
I should update
At our 1/8th mile drags on the 4/3/2018 - I did not get a single error or drop out!

On the other hand I did blow one of the armature windings into copper vapour at the end of the first run

So I'm off the road until I get another motor

I think the controller is fine - have to wait until I get another motor - or that one fixed - to know for sure

This controller is not the original 500A cougar controller. It is much larger, rated about 400V instead of 144V and 1600A not 500A.

I think this one would work better for your 3 motor application, since there are 3 IGBTs and 3 output cables that are normally all connected together .. but you could use one motor per IGBT.

I PMed you - if you respond with your email address I can send you the files that I have. The high power version has the .PCB files and .SCH files as well.
