Hey, Seattle made the national news yesterday with the snow. The town only has like 27 snowplows, they said, and were just overwhelmed. Was that where the spot came from about the snowplow turning over on it's side???
Most of NY *that I'm familiar with* hires freelance plowers all winter long on "sit contracts"
They pay them a retainer fee to be ready on call, and when it's necessary, they go forth in droves and plow everything in sight!
Many of those same guys have contracts with the local businesses to plow their lots for anything up to $200/hour, depending on the amount of snow and the limits to removal.
One of my neighbors, all year long, would take equipment to a store front, move the snow, pick up the snow, and dumptruck it back to his yard, where he'd dump it in piles... his kids would then have a field day playing in the mountain of snow.
And he got paid $100 a truck load to haul it away.

Maybe tomorrow. I don't have a good area near the house though. I'll have to think about that one.

They had a SeaTac spot on the national news again this evening. I'm guessing that even though you're pretty far north, that you're close enough to the Pacific, and low enough elevation, that you don't get the weather that say, Idaho does...
That was a mean looking low pressure area coming down the coast. Looks like you may get even more snow!!!
No "25 in a 15", now, you hear!!
(Merry Christmas!!! )

I haven't been watching the weather. Oh dear... If anyone is reading this, and they have a spare $1500, please buy me a mill for christmas, and have it overnighted. Thanks!
Merry Christmas! ha ha ha (remember last year when Australia banned ho ho ho because of it's negative connotation to women? hehe!)

What! Cheap EV Conversion? Not Cheap Motor Controller??? haha!
I just added an emergency disconnect. A 175amp Anderson Connector. It's sort of crappy, but it works really well, so back off! Geeze! I took really good pictures of it, and the batteries are dead again on the camera. I bought the rechargeable batteries from Harbor Freight. hmm... Well, I put in the emergency disconnect because... hmm... well, maybe because I'm going to put the controller in the car! haha! And then test it out a bit at 72v, and then Ben's going to do the big time stuff (144v)! ya!
