Phone call from Jerry Asher

Hey Guys,

I was working on my BUILD YOUR OWN ELECTRIC CAR instructional video, when I got a call from Jerry Asher.

Jerry is a board member of the Electric Auto Association. He's also the owner of the Spirit of DC, a plug-in Prius conversion, now complete with solar panels!

Whenever Jerry travels, he calls up the locals that he knows to see about stopping at EV club meetings and say hello! Jerry is an inspiration to many of us involved in clean transportation. In fact, I even noticed that he's taking the train to come up this way, rather than the hybrid. Actually, he described the train as a "diesel-electric hybrid"......

Anywhoo, I invited Jerry to come out to the MREA Energy Fair this weekend. I'm really hoping he can make it.

There are so many really cool, and very supportive members of the Electric Vehicle Community. Hats off to you all!

Hey Ben,

Where and when is the energy fair? I finally welded in a decent tow-bar mount on my electric Fiero so I can now pull it with my pickup. I would like to find out more about this energy fair and possibly pull the Fiero there. Do you have a link that would give more info?

I called them and they said they had no more room for my car. I think I will still go over there on Saturday as it is only about an hour away. Do you know of any other cars that might be there in addition to yours? Like maybe a lithium powered El Camino?
