MOTHER EARTH NEWS will be holding a fair near Pittsburgh at the end of September. The eco-fair will focus on renewable energy, clean transportation, sustainability, and more!

I will be giving a presentation on HOW TO BUILD YOUR OWN ELECTRIC CAR: CHEAP, on Saturday, Sept. at 2PM. I will also be on the GREEN TRANSPORTATION PANEL, immediately following at 3PM (final times still subject to change)

No, I won't have the Electro-Metro out at the event, but I will have plenty of BUILD YOUR OWN ELECTRIC CAR DVDs there!

If any Ecomodders will be in the area, come on out and see the Green Transportation exhibits.

Hey Everyone,

The Mother Earth Fair was great!
We had really nice weather. There were lots of people there, great vendors and presenters, and even plenty of barnyard animals.

At my BUILD YOUR OWN ELECTRIC CAR: CHEAP presentation, the lecture room was full to its 156 person capacity.

Among the more interesting transportation projects, there was the world's fastest wood burning car, and a presentation on MAX, a homebuilt 87mpg diesel sports car!





Besides all that, I also got to rub elbows with publishers, see a couple old friends, and try a local, organic beer!

Mother Earth News plans to hold more of these fairs in the future. If there is one in your area, stop on by!
