After exchanging a few e-mails with their on-line store, I found out the following:
  • That model of hubcap was only made in 13" and 14" sizes.
  • Production was discontinued 4-5 years ago.
  • They are all sold out, the guy even checked if there are any left in storage.
  • I asked if they could make a few sets if there were enough potential customers, but that's not possible - the mold cast is worn out or damaged.

...I wouldn't mind something like these in plastic, except the orginals were only 14" diameter and I need 16", darn!

I'm running two from an Oldsmobile on the front of the T-100.They're 15" and are 'silent' compared to the bang-on MOONIES which I,like so many, can't seem to keep on the vehicle.
I don't think they made a 16" size.Too bad,'cause you would have liked them.

What do you think about their "sun" hubcaps? They still sell these and this type allows brake venting...

You can get a set very similar to those at Wal Mart for $21. I think they have 14,15 and 16. Not sure about the 16. Planing on putting a set on my Fiesta. Also consider the weight of the hub caps. I have seen them weight so much you can't balance the wheels if the hub caps are not balanced. The Wally World ones are very light and cheap.

Would be interested to see something come out. On my 2nd gen prius with the stock alloy I am going to have to pop rivet the mooneye onto the plastic aero/beauty ring that clips to the wheel.

I just posted this link in another thread: www.mooneyesusa.com/MOON-Disc-Dzus-p/md11-dz.htm

Mooneyes have a deep dish disk:

They will even glue a pizza pan to your Tesla hubcap for $125ea.

Vekke — Can you compare the weight of Plexiglass vs aluminum? My guess is the aluminum is lighter. Can you spin-form Plexiglass?

Plexiglas = acrylic. Acrylic density is 1.19. Aluminium density is 2.7. However, I'd not use acrylic - too easily shattered.

ABS density = 1.05
Polycarbonate (lexan) = 1.22.

As far as I know, no plastic can be spun like aluminium. But easy enough to vacuum form.
