if the php/vbulletin filter doesnt work out.. are you able to make links turn a more noticeable color??

Now that there is a "more than 5 posts for links" rule, spammers are posting multiple times, then going back and editing their posts to add links.
Two possibilities to counter this would be to either have a limit of 2-3 posts per day until you reach 10 posts, or no links (even when editing) for the first week after the first post (not after registration).

I'm not sure what else can be done, and even these would hit new members, as the existing rules already have. There are many new members that really have alot to add to the discussion from post #1 and I'd hate to see them turn away when they hit a wall of anti-spam rules.
