Experience so far - Apart from estimating MPG in wimpy gallons it is not too far off being a match for the on board one on instant figures and factoring a conversion in my head (multiply displayed MPG by 1.2).

My real scare was putting in coolling temp and getting 190 Deg F whilst my gauge was showing 90. Then I realised the gauge is in Deg C. *Facepalm
