POLL: This is a bad idea I know...
I just realized with all the money I'm making now that I can afford a SG2... I kind of wanted the KiwiMPG more though.... But as you guys know, I still need rear tires (lol) So poll which one you think I should get, comment too if you have any info about the kiwimpg, some say they are great, some say they are totally off...

Def rear tires and a tune up... The SG2 can wait.

Depending on how long you have to save for new tires, I would get the SG2 and then buy two cheap tires with your next paycheck. Then you can see if they were costing you MPGs - an extra experiment!
I don't know how bad your tires are though; if they are really rotten it's a pretty clear safety issue.

I'm for routine maintenance first.
You can probably find some steals on used tires, if you want to save some cash there.
Also, if you get the SG, you'll be looking at the numbers telling yourself, "Man, I really need a tune-up!"
Maybe you can hook up an inexpensive Vac-Gauge for some feedback in the meantime.
Best FE to ya...

I'm not changing my vote, here, but check out CL - you can usually get Neon tires extremely cheap, because they're a fairly common size. If you can get a pair of tires that will last you through the winter and part of next spring, for like $50 or something close, add in $30 to mount/balance them at Wally World, so for about $80 you can have decent tires. The tune up is just a matter of some 0w30 oil, a Neon SRT-4 Filter, and some plugs.. that should cost about $50 total, no need to really buy wires if you're not experiencing arc'ing or sputtering.
So you can have your tune-up for the same price as a good pair of new tires, and probably still have enough money to get the SG2 next week.
You also may be able to get a pair of used tires from a garage for free, if you ask around. I've done this before, too.

I vote for four used tires, of the same brand and the same remaining treadlife. Some tires grip better in the wet than others, some grip better on dry.
Front snow tires and rear summer tires = oversteer in snow, understeer on dry pavement. Front summer, rear snow = same problem.

Tires, tune-up, then get the scan gauge.
