I didn't have too much trouble setting it up, I screwed up entering in the fuel the first time and you just have to remmember to keep entering that

Yeah, I messed up the first time too. Since then it has been fluxuating a bit, I am going to average over the next 3 tanks, set it to that, and leave it alone.

I've been using my SG-II for about 10 months. I find the real time info very informative, but I'll admit it, I never bothered to read the manual completely. So I've never messed with the fuel % settings. I did however enter the size of my engine and gallons of my fuel tank, etc.

OK, so I've found that the daily trip mpg's are consistently too high. My "fix" for this was to go to "settings" adjust the mph adjustment to -9 mph. Basically my SC-II thinks I'm going 9 mph less than I really am all of the time. This works out nicely and the daily trip mpg are quite accurate now.

Well, that's not really the right way to do it. To get your MPG accurate you want to adjust the % offset in the fillup screen. That way your odometer will still be correct as well as your MPG. It's not hard to do really.
