Normally I would support your mod, but your country is listed in the news to have high pollution due to coal produced electricity. Do you have a solar array at you home where you plug in? In your case it may be more environmentally friendly to use gas.

Not quite - even 100% electricity from coal is cleaner than hybrids. Remember, it takes a lot of electricity to make gasoline. In fact, it can take more electricity to drive a gas car, than an EV.
