Yeah. I know it's not the best on gas mileage, but they can be had for dirt cheap and they're also cheap and easy to work on. These cars don't do stellar on the highway because of the short gearing. I'm generally sitting at around 3500rpms at 75mph. Even so, I average around the mid 30s like you.

Do you have pictures of your old ride?

I can locate some! And i actually traded a beat ass honda ruckus for it.. lol guy got a dwi and needed a scooter. It was only 126k auto black with the factory fives

Have you never considered to get a 6-speed transmission for the Sentra?

I have an 01 Nissan Sentra (1.8 GXE) that routinely gets around 44mpg. My best tank was around 48mpg.

Albeit this is with extreme hypermiling out of my 5 speed lots of pulse and gliding and trying to use the brakes as little as possible.

When cruising on the interstate in the summer if I'm going around 55-65 I'm usually bobbing around 39-45mpg.
