Top and Side Pieces installed:

Ignore the angle of the top pieces because those are simply being bent by gravity right now and are not in their final resting place.

Glad to see another tail coming to life :)

Are you direct bolting to the car?

HydroJim 08-08-2012 07:03 PM

Yeah, Holes drilled right through the hatch. I'm not too concerned about rust because the car already has so much of it

The stuff you see on the hatch surrounding the metal is masking tape to protect the paint during drilling.

I've wanted to see a tail on one of these since that bodystyle first came out .
Hope it all works out for you .

Weather Spotter 08-08-2012 07:56 PM

I hope you can make it to the tail meet :)

4 tails in a row :)

Go, Man, GO:thumbup:. Looking forward to watching this build!:D

I have 10 sheets of 4x8 coroplast sitting in my garage. it's enough to cover my boat tail, the belly pan, and other mods. Plus some for when I mess up. If I need more I can run up to the local sign shop. Hopefully that's not the case.
