24.21 mpg City
Picked up a the vacuum gauge and a few LEDs for color testing.
Also, scored 24.21 mpg CITY/Coutry Roads. Are you serious? AMAZING!!!
Plus, since I live in The People's Republic of New York State, gas likes to rise. I go to lunch, $4.05. I come back from lunch, $4.09.
Really?
I put in my 195* thermostat and manged to clean a few things out of the car....

Just a few things...
I am very impressed with the results, and can't wait to see what the tune-up and gauges will yield!

Waiting for the Advanced Auto Parts coupon to buy stuff. I need to start working on the 3 gauge pillar pod thing. It needs a little caressing. Plus I have to run all the wires for the gauges. I'll probably end up just making a wire loom/harness for them. i also picked up some 5.6K resistors to dim the LED in the gauges.
After I complete the tune-up, I'll be installing the front belly pan. Sweet.
Mileage is looking up. I like it!

Did the tune up. New plugs, wires, filters and stuff. The front belly pan does not fit in stock form. Modification is soon to occur.
I broke the h-pipe in the exhaust about a week ago. It's driving me up a wall. So to fix it, I bought another car. I know, makes a lot of sense, right?
Anyways, the Tank is now my dedicated futz around car. It will be an ecomodded car with the ability to tow when needed. I'm going to need to pick up and deliver larger parts in the local area for my powder coating business. It makes sense. Plus the Tank costs me $26 a month in insurance.
So I look forward to really pushing the boundries with this project. Started fiberglassing the three gauge pod. I can't wait until that's done, and yes, I will post pictures.
I also got my header panel back from paint:

I'll change the front a little bit, plus I have to fill in all the gaps between the grill and the bumper cover. Plus I have brand new head lights and directional housings:

Well, until next time!
Mod on!

I just bought a 03 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series. YEah!!!
Now I can truly dedicate the Tank to Ecomodding.
First, I need to finish building my big powder coating oven so I can powder coat my aluminum block lime green! Because, if I'm going to build up a motor, it might as well be done awesomely.
The Tank now has it's 15" alloy winter tires on. No more 17s until spring.
The gauge cluster will now go in after the motor goes in.

I found out my cousin has a stripped down aluminum block, so I'll probably use that one first.
I haven't had much of any time recently to work on the Tank. I'm on a trip for work, and with Christmas and the in-laws coming, almost no time.
But I am enjoying the Town Car. And even though it has 45 more hp than the Tank, it weighs about 500 lbs more.
And I can feel every one of those 500 lbs.
But that's ok. It's not my eco-project. I'm not worried.
Well, I don't think there will be much of any updates until after the holidays.

Oh that's been fixed for a while. Almost a month now. I'm just pissed because the stock stuff lasted 17 years and the aftermarket WALKER product lasted 3 years before breaking.

Well, it appears that the motor swap will be happening sooner than later.
I went to start it last night and while it was turning over, it made a clunk and then shut off.
I got it to start this afternoon, and here is the result:
And stuff:
So, I need my aluminum block and need to start powder coating everything else that needs to be done.
