Yup, some people have nothing better to do with their sorry excuses for lives than to flag perfectly legit ads on Craigslist.

A few years back there were some enviro-nuts using an automated Craigslist flagging website to nearly instantly nuke as many truck and SUV ads as they could. There are still such sites. Every time Craigslist blocks one (and you just about have to threaten CL with a lawsuit to get them to do it) someone finds another way to rapidly flag ads.

Saw the wagon... it's a little old for daily duty. Been there done that lol.

Celica... I'm assuming if it's AWD he'd say so. It's super cheap but the real issue is- "why?" Can't be just the clutch. Been up for a couple weeks too. If I get some extra time this week I may drive over to take a look.

My 123 Merc and my lowered Jetta are nearly identical in height. The Merc is 3-4 inches wider. There are manual shift 4 cylinder diesels out there. I am starting to get my 5 cyl back in tune. My first tank was 30 mpg. They are built like brick out houses. Watch my space in the spring when it warms up.

Jeez. If someone cannot write a coherent sentence and upload a photograph I'm NOT going to buy a car from them.

That CRX owner needs to be shot.

Also, that Geo I drove was painfully lacking in driving enjoyment. Which might completely take it off my "want" list. It was like driving a kitchen appliance.

If you lower them are they bearable?

I dunno. I was going to post a snide reply (lowered K-car). But the truth is the Swift GT (Metro clone) was a fun little car. You can get sway bars, stiffeners/braces, etc, etc.

One of these years I'll get around to lowering the Flea. Also I have a GT parts car standing by to do a non-engine-based sass transplant into the convertible (one of these decades).

You mean the Metro was a clone of the Swift, right?

I'd have a hard time believing that thing would get much better with suspension work... but there must be some reason they're cult cars (in non-hypermiler circles).

Back on the search for a Miata.

Although, this looks appealing! :fro:
