PT Cruiser Rear Wheel Skirts
Yesterday, while driving into the city, I was passed by a PT Cruiser.
As it passed, I saw that it had REAR WHEEL SKIRTS - but they were not home-made - they were some sort of very nice-looking aftermarket parts!
I was driving, so I really couldn't just grab my camera right then.
However, they looked similar to this:
ABS REAR SKIRTS
I was just really surprised to see some "real" add-on wheel skirts out on the open road. Has anyone else seen these or any nice-looking wheel skirts on any other cars?

They have an aftermarket option for smoothie wheel covers, too.
PT's were made to resemble 50's cars, so all the options in the 50's that were popular, including chrome stripe packages, wood-side wagon panels, smooth wheels, fender skirts, etc... are all available for them in the aftermarket.
Landau tops are another one.

Yup, what Christ says. You can get side skirts for VW Karmann Ghias too, but that's not a new car. I think that "retro kits" for cars like Ford (9th gen?!?!) Thunderbirds also have side skirts.
This is NOT what I am talking about, but it's a newer TBird option :

I like the retro-redone PT's... I seen one at a car show near Binghamton that looked like a 50's panel truck with a resto-mod restoration... it was nice.

Nah, the one I seen was done up after a 1953 Dodge Panel Truck that the guy had had earlier in life. He said he'd never afford to restore a real one, so he did the "next best thing", even though it looked like a 3/4 scale version...

I would really like to see how the PT retro skirts are attached, they're
ABS, not fiberglass.
I searched the site, including the "How To' section, and found nothing.

They attach with clamps from underneath. Look at the pic that shows 3 of them lined up, you can see the reflection of the clamps in the blue one.
