3000 miles later and still no difference in MPG, in case anyone wanted to know.

Engine does run smoother and cooler.

I tend to convert to Mobil-1 around the 8K mark
I'm also a believer in "Tufoil"-been adding that in my vehicles for 20+ years (And yes, I'm experimented with Duralube, Slick50, Prolong and zmax, and what did I find? No improvement in MPG. I keep on coming back to Tufoil).

thanks for the followup
no reason to think it should
viscosity is viscosity

if an oil change could add 1 mpg, the mfgrs would be all over it

but for the oil producers, it is a triumph of marketing
