Question about scangauge

Hallo!

Finaly after 2 month with assembly problems i got the scangauge to my Punto 1. Works, but some things i dont like. Just to clarify that this is not classic device like here you have.

I have a several questions for users with MPguino or scangauge-OBD2 atc.

I cannot calibrate the computer very well. My consumption is about 5.4l/100km done from full tank. The computer is calibrated now about 5l/100km. Isn't big difference.
But i don't trust the instant consumption. Some speeds and result looks strange.
The computer doesn't recognize very much full throttle and half throttle. Shows consumption just about 1l different, isn't too low?

Another strange thing is, on the 5.th gear of my computer shows immediate consumption still about 5 liters to 100 km. There is no difference whether I ride 70 or 110 km / h.
Look at the video and tell me is normal?

Did the fuel consumption computer that you purchased come with a manual or help booklet?

noxman -

I looked at the YouTube and saw "Riva" on the scanner. I don't know what a "Riva" is. If it is getting all it's information from the OBD-II port, then the gizmo is probably using it's own algorithm to calculate the fuel consumption based on different engine parameters.

I think this is an error in the Riva fuel consumption software.
