I agree!
Most modern trikes leave the rear half open like a motorcycle for looks. I like the idea of the tube-frame going all the way back.

Since this one follows a more utilitarian approach, leaving the rear half more enclosed sounds more sensible. The newer ones based on sports motorcycles being meant basically to show-off, it's no surprise its builders want to leave the guts exposed.
