Surely nobody cares how aerodynamic a road roller is.
If it gets the kids to school all is fine.

That may well be a Raymond Loewy design by the way.
He was involved with International Harvester at the time.

"Series 56" was off the top of my head - and the reason that the ad is full of spurious information (vs. carefully researched facts) is that it was never intended to be a hoax, or to fool people, it was a half-hour photoshop & airbrush lark done to amuse my friends at lunchtime. It migrated off my personal facebook page; it wasn't done for the public at large. It's so obviously a joke, I can't understand why people would waste their time parsing the content, trying to find 'proof' that it's 'fake.' Kudos to those of you who chalked it up to foolishness, because that's all it was ever supposed to be - a glance and a laugh (hopefully).

Some gasoline-powered Porsche tractors had been imported to Brazil, mostly to be used in coffee plantations, because their exhaust fumes were reported to not interfere with the coffee quality as much as Diesel fumes would.

It’s called the SESAM (Sustainable Energy Supply for Agricultural Machinery), and seems to be the first fully electric tractor.

Two 150 kW electric motors can be used together, or as a single drive unit, while second motor to incorporate other fucntionality, like a hydraulic pump.

If you Google "electric tractors" and click "Shopping" there are lots of smaller ones on the market.

I think so, because a hot dog has a nice long aspect ratio.

I would love to see it in a wind tunnel with smoke blowing about to be sure though.

One car springs to mind. You might be surprised to know that Henry Ford and Thomas Edison were good friends, and Ford admired Edison a great deal. Ford built his own electric car in 1913 (pictured above), but in 1914, the two collaborated on a project to build an affordable electric car. It was going to use Edison's own battery technology, but both their car and battery workshops burned down in a fire.
