But there are only three van classes, so there can be quite a difference between vehicles in the same class.

For example my Renault Kangoo is also in the 'small' van class, but is based on the Renault Megane/ Scenic MPV, while the Combo was based on a A segment hatch. Caddy is based on Golf rather than Polo etc. As a result the Combo C was about 150mm narrower than it's competition.

The current Opel Combo is a rebadged Fiat Doblo, which actually is available in the US as a Ram Promaster City.

Yep, a few members have tried that by streamlining the mirror with clear plastic that buts against (or is attached to) the side window.

Even if you could just safely downsize your side mirrors, that would help. They're pretty big.

danvanman... Maybe some front and rear wheel spats(little things that deflect air), and again, smaller mirrors.
I'm thinking your's is manual, so add the switch that lets you P & G from your shifter knob to ease the transition. EOC, should be easy for you in many situations, just be careful if in case you are not using this already!(and you may be heavier/loaded).
