Anytime I can ride my pedal bike on New Year's Day is a good year.

And in the garden
It got warmer and is melting quickly, our trail is mostly free of snow by now, so I took Teresa through a bit of snow, the roads have already been clean for days.
It was 6-7°C | 43-44°F and light rain on the way to work. Could have been better, but I was fed up with not riding.

Btw, you have beautiful mountains. I envy you

How far down Spray Lakes road did you go? Did you make it all the way to Kaninaskis country? I have been working on my bikes to get them ready for riding, I will lower the the seat height on the WR250 by removing the OEM foam and replacing it with a thinner foam cover, that is a bit wider as well. The WR250 has the most uncomfortable seat I have ever seen, but the rest of the bike is great.

That's as far as I went. Tires are fairly worn and being 80/20, they don't work so well in the freshly graded muck.

I've done that ride before in the summer... but the backroad from hwy 68 to 66 is a much better ride!

How does your windshield mounted that high help out. Less buffeting on your helmet? I might try that.

When riding this motorcycle, the windshield takes a lot of pressure off your body. Without the windshield you get a very good ab and arm/shoulder workout and if you ride at highway speeds you will get quite tired in a short amount of time. This windshield in question is a Spitfire universal and is adjustable is many ways. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/SpitFire-Univ...-/380446557883 Shop around, I bought mine on sale from a Honda dealer for $20... prices vary... http://www.scootercatalog.com/slipst...indshield.html

Also, this is a 180CC bike. It's small. When I sit on it my helmet sticks about 6" above the windshield. My 6'4 frame is not meant for this bike...But that never stopped me from riding it for 4 years...
