Talking Roof racks
Just a couple pics from my commute home yesterday in crazy traffic-sans-reason.

How many MPG do you think this guy is losing?


That roof rack is actually empty, it just has brackets for everything from snowboards and skis to bicycles and possibly a jet-ski or fishing trawler. May as well be a parachute.

Then there's this guy in a modified Mini:


Clearly ad revenue trumped fuel efficiency here

...And what's the deal with VW owners and roof racks? About 80% of all roof racks I see are on VW's for some bloody reason. Saw 3 roof racks on my way home yesterday (none with anything in it) 2 were on Golfs and one was a Jetta... weird.

Yeah the troops don't need improvised explosive devices with stuff like that goin' down the road.It'll kill 'em for sure!

They provide free red bull to various sporting events, I don't complain... I can fit 3 in my water bottle holder on my mtb bike.
